What is the Impact of Unstable Voltage (Too Low or too High)
on the Refrigerators?
What is the Voltage Range that Your Refrigerators Can Withstand?
There are generally two kinds of voltage in the world: 220V and 120V. Our commercial refrigerators can allow up and down voltage fluctuations of 15%. In other words, the 220V machine can withstand the voltage range of 187 ~ 253 V. The 120V machine can withstand the voltage range of 102 ~ 138 V.
What are Our Solutions for Voltage Protection for Fridges?
There are 2 ways: Emerson Digital Controller XR02CX and Stabilizer.
Emerson Digital Controller XR02CX
Emerson electronic thermostat XR02CX has a built-in voltage protection mechanism. You can set the lowest voltage VL and the highest voltage VU. When the voltage is lower than the minimum voltage you set, or higher than the maximum voltage you set, the thermostat will alarm and cut off the power to protect other electrical components of the refrigerator (such as compressors, and fans) from being burned out. When the thermostat detects that the voltage has returned to the normal value range, the machine will clear the alarm and automatically restart the refrigeration. This solution is suitable for scenarios: the frequency of voltage instability is preferably lower than 1 time/week. If the frequency is greater than 1 time/week, we suggest directly using a voltage regulator to ensure long-term stable operation of the refrigerator.

Stabilizer
Many customers purchase our refrigerators to promote their beverage and food sales. However, for some countries and places with unstable voltage, it will seriously affect the work and life of the refrigerator, and then affect your business. In this regard, our suggestion is to add a voltage regulator(voltage stabilizer) to allow voltage fluctuation and ensure that your business is not affected. The voltage regulator is generally external. For some refrigerators with a relatively large space, such as double-door refrigerators, we can build the regulator into the compressor compartment to be more convenient for you to use.
You can tell us the refrigerator model you need and the voltage requirements. We can customize the program according to your requirements.
