Built-in Beverage Cooler

What Is a Built-in Beverage Cooler?

Built-in beverage coolers are designed to fit under-counter or into cabinetry. Comes with a seamless look, as they flush against the depth of the cabinets. They are commonly used for cold drinks in kitchens, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. It has a vent in the front as there is no outside venting space for the fridge.

Freestanding Beverage Fridge

What Is a Freestanding Fridge?

Compared to built-in, a freestanding fridge is the most common type of design. It stands alone and can be set up anywhere on the floor or countertop. It has the same function also to store and chill cold drinks in commercial places. As there is enough venting space outside, it has no special requirement for compressor venting like the built-in style.

Ventilation Difference between Freestanding and Built-in Beverage Fridge

Most of our commercial coolers are for freestanding use in shops. Thanks to our flexible ability in manufacturing, we could turn it into a built-in version instantly if we change the ventilation way for the compressor compartment. Below is an example showing our bar fridges for both freestanding or built-in.

The fan motor sucks in air from the front on one side and blows the hot air out of the front on the other side. Perfect to prevent the compressor and condenser from overheating. Because there is no venting space in the back of the cooler. Suitable for ambient temperature up to 43°C. Any built-in fridge can be left as freestanding units. Also, it cost more than the freestanding type.
