Why ETL, not UL?

  • The Same Standards – ETL and UL implement the same set of test standards, and both certifications are equally recognized by the North American market.

  • Save Your Time – The organization responsible for UL certification in China is UL, in Shanghai city. The organization responsible for ETL certification is ITS, in Guangzhou city. Our company is in Guangzhou area. In order to facilitate the operation, we choose ETL certification. We are exporting about 80,000 commercial refrigerators to the United States every year, and all North American customers choose our ETL-certified products.

  • Save Your Cost – Both UL and ETL require factory annual audits and test machines, and UL costs are higher than ETL. If you use ETL, then we will help you bear the cost of factory audit every year, because we have already done ETL certification. If you use UL to do it for you alone, in addition to the machine certification fee, you have to pay the annual audit fee every year.
