What is DOE Certificate?
For the energy and water conservation purpose, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has established standards for certain consumer products and commercial and industrial equipment, including commercial refrigerators & freezers.
In order to implement the current standards fluently for covered appliances and equipment, DOE has published certification, compliance, and enforcement regulations for these products.
There are serious penalties for non-compliance with the DOE certificate of compliance requirements. We’re quite sure that you don’t want to have anything to do with that.
DOE Standard for Commercial Refrigerators & Freezers
